Brewing Laboratory Science Labs
Brewing Analysis Lab – The BLS analysis lab is able to measure various vital statistics throughout the beer brewing process. The lab is able to perform mill grist analysis along with wort/hop/yeast/beer analyses including Gravity, SRM, IBU, alcohol, and more! Students within the lab are able to gain experience with instrumentation common to the brewing industry and know any beers brewed in their coursework inside and out. This space is located in Ross Hall.
Northern Colorado Brewhouse – Our 7 Bbl. brewery is in Parsons Hall. This state-of-the-art steam-heated system provides a unique opportunity for students to gain experience in a commercial brewhouse without having to leave campus. The beers produced in the on-campus brewery are done in partnership with Yetters Brewing Company and beers produced by students may be made available to the public.
